My Day In Auckland

Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand and attracts a lot of tourists from all over the world since it is so geographically and culturally rich. Although a day in Auckland will not be enough to satisfy your senses, there are certain things you can do so that you have a day and a bucket full of memories for you to take back home with yourself. Auckland had the perfect balance between surf and turf culture as well as the urban lifestyle. With an impressive population of 1.2 million people spread over the land of Auckland and the 50 different islands scattered all around it, Auckland is one such experience you do not want to miss. You can almost experience all of New Zealand right here.

Travelling in Auckland

Travelling in Auckland city is very simple and convenient and you can get from one part of the city to another by taking the bus, train or even the ferry if you want to go to any of the islands. This city has it all – from amazing wildlife and marine life to art and culture, there is something for everyone here. Some of my favourite spots to check out in Auckland are –

The Auckland War Memorial Museum

If you are a history buff and love to know more about the roots of a place rather than just superficially visiting all the popular tourist attractions, then the Auckland War Memorial Museum is a must for you. Located in Park Road, Grafton, you can spend your day at this museum admiring the beauty of the architectural style and all the amazing artifacts it holds.

Kelly Tarlton’s Sea Life Aquarium

If you have a special spot for animals, especially marine life, then this aquarium is one such attraction you should not miss at any cost. Located in Orakei, you can easily get to the aquarium by cab or by bus and spend the day hanging out with King and Gentoo penguins, some huge stingrays, sharks and other local Auckland marine life. Kelly Tarlton’s Sea Life Aquarium is a favourite of children as well as adults who hold a keen interest in nature and wildlife.

The Otara Flea Market

Hosted in the heart of Otara every Saturday 6 am to 12 pm, this is one of the most popular and loved flea markets in Auckland. While locals may come to pick up their share of fresh and organic veggies and groceries, this flea market is also the hub for a lot of live music and performances, fashion, shopping, and mouth-watering food.

The Sky Tower

Standing 328 metres tall on Victoria Street, the Sky Tower is hands down one of the most popular tourist attractions in Auckland, and this is no surprise because not only does the tower look grand, but it also offers larger than life experiences. Have a fabulous meal overlooking the amazing Auckland skyline…what could be better than that?

After a  great day in Auckland. I went to Beautiphi. Whether it’s a phone call to ask for their advice or an appointment at the clinic, no question seems to be too small and nothing is ever a problem. Arriving at an appointment is like arriving at a friend’s house. It is always comfortable and inviting.

I have been going to Beautiphi for over 3 years now for Dysport and fillers and couldn’t be happier with the result Stacey and her team have achieved with my skin. She does amazing work with her skincare treatments like chick fillers, nose job, anti-ageing treatment. Stacey is an amazing technician when it comes to Dysport injections and I love the result it has given me. I have recommended Beautiphi to a lot of my friends as I am now getting compliments on how good I am looking and I want the same for them.
