Dont’ worry guys – Beautiphi hasn’t forgotten about the men in our lives. Men are an increasingly large demographic in the cosmetic medicine market, with huge growth occurring across the full range of procedures.
Australian dermatologist Dr Natasha Cook says male patients used to number only a ‘few percent’ in her clinic, but now estimates men number more than ten percent, and growing at a rapid pace. Dr Cook explains it as connected to the modern pressures on men to stay healthy and fit, while also having pressures on looks, particularly in the competitive business world where looking refreshed and at your best is important.
Stacey Power, here at Beautiphi, backs up the trend in this noticeable, growing market, with large numbers of male clients making bookings for everything from skincare applications and massages to facials and injectables. Competitive Advantage Rejuvenation (CAR) is Beautiphi’s solution for busy professionals who want to look their best, feel their best, and keep their sharp, competitive advantage. CAR is designed for men, who have different requirements and desired outcomes to women. We have set out the four main areas that our male clients are increasingly asking about – Face, Hair, Body, and Sexual Function – below:
Men also suffer ageing and tiredness issues that are often reflected in their faces – the windows to our body/mind health. Treatments for men are often more subtle than those for women, yet take the edge off ageing – giving you that rejuvenation effect you need, whether it’s for business, the dating scene, or just to restore your own confidence. Hair is such a sensitive topic for many men as they progress through life, with research by the American Hair Loss Association showing that 66% of men start to show hair loss by 35, and 85% having suffered significant amounts of thinning by the age of 50. For many men, hair is intimately connected with identity, and loss of hair can lead to loss of confidence. Beautiphi has brought together a range of effective treatment options that can help restore your wild manes. There are a range of issues that confront men as they age, and one of these is a changing body. It’s natural that we don’t have the same muscularity or body tone as we progress through life, but there are of course a range of ways that men can take greater care of their bodies, both inside and out, to make the ageing process have a slower impact. To read more about the treatment options available for body rejuvenation, visit our BODY page for men.
Sexual function is a complicated issue that can involve a range of different factors. It has been found that at least 1 in 3 men in the world have experienced some form of erectile dysfunction, at some time in their lives. This shows the problem is actually more common than some men might think. For some men, shape is of concern. There is no need to feel embarrassed if you need some help in this area. We have a very effective treatment available to help with both shape and erectile issues.
